KMUTNB

About This Course

This course is designed to guide learners through the foundational and advanced elements of the Open edX platform, focusing on content creation, learner engagement, and analytics—all powered by Tutor, the Docker-based deployment tool. Learners will explore how to create structured, modular, and interactive MOOCs using Studio and LMS environments. The course covers topics from course hierarchy design (Section → Subsection → Unit → Component) to integrating multimedia, quizzes, and LTI tools.

Through a combination of lectures, hands-on labs, and collaborative projects, learners will gain real-world experience managing courses on an Open edX Tutor instance. You will also gain insights into backend administration, theming, plugin management, and certificate issuance—all vital for administrators and instructional designers working in higher education or corporate training environments.

By the end of the course, you will be equipped to build and maintain your own Open edX courses on a Tutor deployment, enabling scalable and modular e-learning experiences. This course is particularly beneficial for educators, learning designers, system administrators, and content developers aiming to deliver digital education at scale.
